Jasper, the founder of The Prince of Games and designer behind Regulus, was introduced to us through Ruud from Wulfhorn Games at Spellenspektakel board game convention. A lover of high-fantasy lore, games, and books, Jasper's ideal day might include reading or watching Lord of the Rings, playing Age of Empires I & II, or diving into any TCG. This passion is at the heart of Regulus, where he hopes to build a strong community through board game nights and tournaments.

Similarly with Pompeii, we helped with the concept and direction of the video trailer, but because of the arena fighting and tactical mechanisms, the video is much more dynamic and energetic. It includes a thematic intro and brings more elements of the theme during the explanation of the special features and mechanisms voiced by the designer himself. The video ends in a staged board game night, where the wishes of the designer for a community around future releases are featured. Furthermore, we created extra content such as photoshooting and video edit variations which skyrocketed the pre-release marketing of the Gamefound crowdfunding campaign. At last, Jasper asked us to compose custom made music for the video, inspired by the Age of Empires II soundtrack, which complemented the game's art and added an extra layer to the video!
